Yey, I survived yet another Tuesday. A friend at work has given me the whole 6th series of Red Dwarf, so as I finish the clay head I'm making tonight I will dig in, aaah, Red Dwarf comfort telly. I just finished Spaced seasons one and two, they are very very cool, if you liked Shawn of the dead.
I had a good weekend, I rode (cycled) to Hamstead Heath, got some good abandoned glove shots and read a whole book "The Lovely Bones"
I forgot to mention it snowed on Friday, in my face as I rode home. I was to excited about the snow to care about the sharp icicles driving into my eyeballs.
I wonder is Tenner's back from New York? I will call her now. I miss the little monkey.

It is really cold. I remember from last year how bad February is. Frost and even light snow.
Two deaths I wanted to mention, Chris Penn? they can't figure out why, and that poor whale that got lost and swam up the Thames, much to the delight of viewers. Only to beach itself and die not long after. It's bones will be displayed in the natural history museum, which I should visit one of these days. Tomorrow I plan to finally visit the Tate Modern to see this.

Hmmmm, what's exciting. O yeah! I'm going to Cork in Feb!!! yeyy Cork I hear you all scream with delight!.... I'm off to visit remote fishing villages, soak up cool Irish accents and the best bit of all, see my friend Abbey. I haven't seen her for like 6 months. I guess that doesn't mean so much when I haven't seen any of you for over a year!!! Also, Georgia might stop by London and pop her head in. It will be good to see her again, she's so damn Aussie.

Tenly called me and asked for Ashley's number to see if he was avaialable to cover her next week whiles she's New Yorking it. Then Ashley called and was like "about next week" turns out he called me for Tenly's number to see if she could cover him next week! I think thats about a 5 on the coincidence scale, especially since Ashly never calls me. Weird, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket or something.

I had a little quarrel with a handyman yesterday, I thought he was well rude so I wrote
Hi Andy
Unfortunately we will not be going with you anymore.
Thank you anyway

So he wrote
Any special reason?

So I wrote
We have decided to go with someone else.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

So he wrote
First my wife now you!

No problem

I thought it was funny, plus I got nothing else to write, except we had half price sushi yesterday, what a bargain!
It rains here. I am sooooo tired, moron waking us up at 3:30 the night before last and something else waking me up at 3:30 this morning, then a call at 5:30 am , then again at 7:30 am. I can't wait to sleep tonight.

I won't bother to update entirely, except to say, Christmas was fun, New Years was fun, champagne was consumed, fireworks where set off. Loads of food got eaten and now we are on a diet again.
It sux to be back at work, although the days seem to be longer than two hours now, in fact it's three o'clock and no sign of night yet, it's a start, only three more months of shitty weather.
We had a little party last weekend. We ate, drank and played charades, it was the funnest party we had so far I reckon. Excpet all our guests were movie buffs and once they guessed first word "the" the movie was guessed within a minute. Or book that was made into a movie or tv show etc. Now we are both older and wiser, seeing as we both celebrated our 27th birthdays.
In me news, I'm losing my mind, stuff is going down and it's taking my brain with it. I was half way to work this morning when I realised I didn't have my helmet on!!! duh.

The Christmas party was OK I guess, my interview was Ok too. They will call back in January for a second if they liked me.
Off to Germany tomorrow. It will be cool to just chill for a bit and not have to wake up early all the time.
John Waters is redoing Hairspray and John Woo is directing He-Man, yey! but odd.
There is about three people at work today, it's a little dull. I guess tomorrow there will be even fewer.
Just for some flavour to this post, check out Hufu! the human flesh alternative! for real!!!
Merry Christmas all of ya!

It's our Christmas party tomorrow, woo hoo! I will eat turkey and be merry. Wednesday will be ppainful but at least we will all be sharing the pain. I have been researching Framestore to look good for my interview, but what to wear? nothing to wear to the Christmas party either, I hope our pay comes through very soon, I feel it's been forever since last I got paid. I saw Oldboy on the weekend, finally. It was quite disturbing and quite good. We also saw King Kong yesterday, very Peter Jackson, exciting and fun and epic. With loads of references to the original. I saw a couple of people in the creds I know, at the very end. I'm going to meet someone for coffee today my Mum met on the plane on the way home, he happened to be going to work on King Kong, she got his email and we are doing coffee. Weird sometimes how the connections are made.

I got an interview at Framestorenext week! AAh , I had to change it from the day after the Christmas party. That would have been a disaster. I am very nervous, as for those of you who check out there site can see they produce amazing stuff. It would be a promotion from what I got now, everyone wish me heaps of luck and that all my competitors suck!

Some people might think this whole knitting group thing is silly, well I'm here to tell you it is. But here is some examples of where knitting is heading at the moment, just so's ya know and for the love of fun. "Once a devalued craft, knitting is now taking on capitalism, consumerism and war" Knitted zombies, A crochet vag, A knitted hand grenade http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,3604,1402029,00.html with pattern. And I might have shown some of you this before, my personal favourite http://www.patriciawaller.com/images.html Excuse my lack of html skill, I suck and cannot do links very well, enjoy.(links mainly thanks to Fish go pook) I am currenlty knitting a scarf but who knows whats next? stay tuned people. Dang! I finally got my presents out!, I didn't get to finish as many as I wanted but I got most done. Eagerly await them people!!!
My job is getting me down. I sent a CV to Framestore but they haven't called me. At least Thomas and I are being creative at home, sewing and drawing and modelmaking, but work? sooooo boring. I wish I could stay at home all the time, except a fuse blew and now we must shower in the dark.
My weekend! Lee cooked us dinner on friday night, we were lame o company though and bailed soon after and taxied it home. The rest of the weekend was spent eating and sewing. Sewing what?? well two of you will soon find out.
Hey how's about the big explosion in London? made some awesome smoke cloud and really nice dusk light. It is a bit of a disaster though. oops.
Sigh, I'm down again, I need my holiday. only two weeks to Christmas and I cannot wait, next year, work will pick up, I will be busy and mentally stimulated and they will pay me more. Dream dream dream
Here's the view out my back window of the smoke from the huge fire.

Ok, Stuff. Last Friday night we saw a band, yes a real band, actually from Melbourne. It was cool, made us dig London seeing some live music, lots o fun. Yesterday I posted off some Christmas pressies, for those of you who will get them, DO NOT OPEN UNTIL CHRISTMAS. For those of you who don't, they uh, must have got lost in the mail.
Last night I saw the original King Kong, he is just a giant baby, destroys everything, is proud of his messes and likes to put things in his mouth. It was good to see it before the new one though, it is a very cool flick, especially the characters, especially the film producer dude.
Today I went to a Banksy and co exhibit in Soho in my lunch break. It was loaded with very nice images, Lee tried to win one by throwing balls at things, but he lost. I finally found Tatty Devine a shop run by two art school girls who design sweet things that I can't afford. And we bought loads of asparagus for £1.50 for the meal Lee will cook for Thomas and me tomorrow night, all in all a fun lunch break.
That's about it, often I compose long and intelligent stories for my journal in my head, but when it comes to the time, I just write stuff, I'm off home in 15 mins so no time for intelligence.

I just went on a cool walk in my luchbreak, through Leicester square, where there is a fair, spooky merry-go-round an all. Then over to piccadilly circus, took a photo of the angels bum and all the huge sony signs, then on to Soho for a coffee, via a super trendy clothing/toy shop that sells UNKLE wears for £350 a jacket and £500 for a beanbag??!! I didn't buy anything. And it's the weekend! yey for all weekends! I have nothing lined up though. As per usual, maybe I go out in Camden and explore the police and dealer infested nightlife of the high st. One night when were walking down there three dealers in a row asked us, coke? marijuana? very funny. I didn't buy anything.
